The waterfall in San Luis
Here are a few pictures from a wonderful adventure/hike to a beautiful waterfall in San Luis. I hiked to this waterfall with a friend/yoga teacher named Heidi. It was a lush, and slippery walk to the waterfall...we went swimming under the waterfall...and the water felt so nice!

My first blog...I wanted to begin with some pictures of what inspired me to come to Costa Rica for an extended period of time. I came to Alahuela Costa Rica in October of 2009 to attend a week-long yoga retreat. This journey was not only inspiring, but transformational, to say the least. I had taken all of 4 yoga classes in my life and had decided to attend a retreat in which yoga was practiced for 3-4 hours a day. I loved it. Additionally, I was taken by the "Pura Vida" lifestyle and attitude of the people that I had encountered during my journey.
